Gundam Card Game promo card to be given away for free – find out how to get it
BANDAI has announced a special promotional giveaway for the new Gundam Card Game.
Players will soon be able to claim a free resource card: “RP-010 Resource <Machu & GQuuuuuuX>”.
The Gundam Card Game is Bandai’s latest venture into the collectible card game market, designed to unite the vast Gundam franchise under a single, globally accessible TCG system.
It features mobile suits and characters from various Gundam series, allowing players to build diverse decks.
“Resource” cards are a fundamental element in many TCGs, representing the energy or currency needed to play other cards (like Mobile Suits or characters).
This promotional resource card features Machu (Amate Yuzuriha) and the GQuuuuuuX Mobile Suit, both originating from the latest Gundam anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
Machu, recently announced to be receiving a prize figure from Banpresto in July, is the series protagonist and GQuuuuuuX is the titular Mobile Suit.
The inclusion of these contemporary characters and Mobile Suits on a promotional card helps to tie the TCG to the freshest content from the Gundam universe and appeal to fans of the new series.
The giveaway specifically targets engagement with the “Gundam Card Game Teaching App”.
This app serves as a valuable tool for new and returning players, offering tutorials, rule explanations, and digital play functionalities to help individuals learn and master the game.
Players will receive the promo card if they show the start screen of the “Gundam Card Game Teaching App” on their cellphone to staff at participating Gundam Card Game stores.
By linking a physical card giveaway to the app, BANDAI hopes to encourage players to utilize this learning resource which will foster a stronger and more informed player base.
