Good Smile Company unveils new Nendoroid 2.0 figures for Kagamine Rin and Len

Good Smile Company has announced the upcoming release of Nendoroid Kagamine Rin 2.0 and Nendoroid Kagamine Len 2.0.
This update, revealed as part of the NENDOROID FUNS live steam, offers refreshed Nendoroid versions of the iconic virtual singers.
Kagamine Rin and Len are a pair of Vocaloid software voicebanks developed by Crypton Future Media, part of the “Character Vocal Series 02,” following Hatsune Miku.

Launched in 2007, these 14-year-old virtual artists are often depicted as “mirror images” or twins and are known for their distinct vocal ranges—Rin for higher, energetic tones and Len for lower, powerful ones.
They have played a significant role in the Vocaloid music scene, inspiring countless user-generated songs, albums, and live concerts.
Nendoroids are a series of small, articulated figures characterized by their “chibi” or “super deformed” aesthetic, large heads, and expressive faces.
They are highly customizable, featuring interchangeable face plates, body parts, and accessories that allow collectors to create various poses and recreate scenes from their respective series.

“2.0” version Nendoroid’s are typically a significant upgrade over previous releases, often featuring improved sculpting, enhanced articulation, and a wider array of accessories to better capture the character’s essence and poseability.
While specific details regarding the accessories, pricing, and release dates for Nendoroid Kagamine Rin 2.0 and Nendoroid Kagamine Len 2.0 have not yet been fully disclosed, the announcement indicated that more information will soon follow.
Fans of the Kagamine twins and Nendoroid collectors alike will likely be looking forward to these updated figures, which promise to bring new life and display options to these virtual music stars.
