Good Smile Company reveals Nendoroid Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

Good Smile Company has revealed its plans to release a Nendoroid figure of Joey Wheeler from the iconic anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.
The announcement was made during the company’s “NENDOROID FUNS” live stream.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is a globally recognized franchise that originated from Kazuki Takahashi’s manga, spawning a long-running anime series, films, and one of the world’s most popular trading card games.

The series follows Yugi Muto and his friends as they engage in high-stakes duels using monster cards, often to save the world.
Joey Wheeler (Katsuya Jonouchi in the Japanese version) is a central character in the series, serving as Yugi’s loyal best friend and a passionate duelist who strives to improve his skills and support his friends.

His energetic personality, Brooklyn accent (in the English dub), and signature monsters like Red-Eyes Black Dragon have made him a memorable figure among fans.
Nendoroids are a popular line of small, articulated figures known for their “chibi” or “super deformed” aesthetic, characterized by oversized heads and expressive faces.
These figures come with interchangeable face plates, body parts, and accessories, allowing collectors to recreate various poses and scenes from the characters’ respective series.

Good Smile Company frequently produces Nendoroids for characters from well-known anime, manga, and video game franchises, offering fans a customizable and display-friendly collectible.
While specific details regarding Joey Wheeler’s Nendoroid accessories, pricing, and release date have not yet been fully disclosed, collectors can anticipate a figure that captures his distinct personality, featuring his Duel Disk, key cards, and various expressive faces reflecting his determination and occasional comedic moments.
