Good Smile Company is launching a new LEGO-like mini figure line focused on giant robots

Pre-orders have officially opened for an entirely new series of collectible mini-robot figures from Good Smile Company’s “Mecha Smile” brand.
The new “BRICKROID” line is described by the company as a new collection of “cool and fun” robot toys, each standing approximately 5 centimeters tall.

The figures are designed in a unified format, allowing fans to collect and display robots from many different mecha franchises.
Despite their small size, the figures feature articulation in the neck, arms, and legs for posing.

Each BRICKROID also has a 5mm connection hole in its feet, allowing it to be displayed on its included base or attached to general-purpose building blocks.

The lineup is teased to include a wide range of robots beyond just the main protagonist machines, including large items and even human characters.

The first wave of releases is based on the popular Rebuild of Evangelion movies and features three iconic mechs.

- Price: 1,800 yen (approx. $11.69 USD / £8.88 GBP)
- Size: Approx. 50mm tall

- BRICKROID Evangelion New Unit-02 Alpha
- Price: 2,200 yen (approx. $14.29 USD / £10.86 GBP)
- Size: Approx. 50mm tall

- BRICKROID Evangelion Unit-13
- Price: 1,800 yen (approx. $11.69 USD / £8.88 GBP)
- Size: Approx. 50mm tall

Pre-orders for the first “BRICKROID” wave opened on November 11, 2025.

The figures are available for pre-order via the Good Smile Company official online store and other retail partners such as HobbyLink Japan.
All three figures are scheduled to ship in May 2026.
