Global Release Confirmed for New hololive Rhythm Game “hololive Dreams”

Cover Corp has officially unveiled the gameplay details for their upcoming smartphone title hololive Dreams, abbreviated as Holodri.
This new mobile rhythm game is being developed in partnership with QualiArts, the studio renowned for its work on Gakuen Idolmaster and IDOLY PRIDE.

This collaboration aims to deliver a high-quality authentic rhythm game experience that leverages the technical expertise of a seasoned mobile developer.
The release follows the company’s continued expansion into the gaming sector, joining ongoing projects like the sandbox game Holoearth.

The core gameplay follows a traditional vertical scrolling format where players tap notes in time with the music.
Players can select official music videos or live concert footage to serve as the background during these rhythm sections.

The interface is highly customizable, allowing fans to apply “Oshi” specific skins that change the appearance of lanes and tap effects to match their favorite talents.

Game modes include a standard Solo Play and a synchronous Multi-Play mode that supports up to five players working together.

A “Create Chart” feature allows users to build their own beatmaps or play those uploaded by other users worldwide.

The progression system involves building a team composed of one Leader and five Support members.
These teams trigger unique interactions and banter between the Leader and their support members during performances.

The launch roster includes over 50 talents, each represented by collectable cards that feature rarity levels, skill trees, and special costumes.

The music library will launch with over 150 tracks, covering solo songs, unit tracks, and cover songs.

Every featured talent will have at least two solo tracks available at launch, ensuring representation across the agency’s generations.

Confirmed tracks include fan favorites like “Seishun Archive,” “Nakama Uta,” and the Okayu and Korone cover of “Hyadain no Joujou Yuujou.”

The game also features an original story mode that depicts the idols’ growth and daily lives.

A mysterious island setting was teased during the broadcast, suggesting a mystery will unfold alongside the rhythm gameplay.

hololive Dreams is scheduled for a worldwide simultaneous release on iOS and Android platforms as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases.
More information is expected to be revealed during a special pre-EXPO broadcast scheduled for February.
