Four Sold-Out Iron-Blooded Orphans Gunpla Kits Get Re-Releases

Bandai has officially re-opened pre-orders for four previously released model kits from their High Grade and Master Grade lines, featuring prominent machines from the Iron-Blooded Orphans franchise.
This wave of re-releases allows collectors another opportunity to secure pieces that have been out of production since their initial debut.

The High Grade (HG) line provides 1/144 scale models that balance ease of assembly with accurate proportions, while the Master Grade (MG) series offers larger 1/100 scale units with highly detailed internal frames.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans takes place in the Post Disaster era, a timeline defined by the aftermath of the Calamity War.

The story focuses on a group of young soldiers on Mars who form the mercenary group Tekkadan and fight for independence against the corrupt Earth-based organization Gjallarhorn.

Central to the appeal of this series is the mechanical design of the mobile suits, which utilize sturdy internal frames and emphasize kinetic, melee-focused combat.
One of the returning models is the HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Adapt, which is currently entering its second round of pre-orders due to high demand.

This kit captures a specialized form of Mikazuki’s mobile suit with its characteristic slim profile and large weapons.

Also returning is the HG 1/144 Gundam Hajiroboshi 2nd Form, a machine featured in the Urdr-Hunt spin-off story.

This version includes the updated armor parts and specialized equipment that were highlights of its original release.
This wave of re-releases also sees the return of the HG 1/144 Ortlinde, a sleek Valkyrie Frame machine recognizable by its large scythe-like weapon and asymmetrical shoulder armor.

For fans of the larger 1/100 scale, the MG Expansion Parts Set for Gundam Barbatos Lupus is being made available once again.

This set includes a massive variety of weapons and accessory pieces to upgrade the base Master Grade unit, allowing for a more accurate portrayal of its heavy-combat configurations from the series.

The HG Barbatos Adapt and HG Ortlinde are each priced at 2,420 yen (approx. $16 USD / £13 GBP).

The HG Gundam Hajiroboshi 2nd Form is available for 2,860 yen (approx. $19 USD / £15 GBP), while the MG Expansion Parts Set is priced at 2,970 yen (approx. $20 USD / £16 GBP).

Pre-orders officially began on Monday, February 16, 2026, and the kits are available exclusively through the Premium Bandai online store.
The MG expansion set is scheduled to ship in May 2026, while the three High Grade models are expected to begin shipping in June 2026.
