Fitness Boxing Series Drops Major Persona 5 Teaser

The official social media account for the “Fitness Boxing” series has unveiled a strong hint regarding a potential new crossover, suggesting a “Fitness Boxing Persona 5” title is in development.
The tease features an image with dialogue presented in the striking user interface style of the acclaimed ATLUS RPG, “Persona 5”.

The cryptic text includes an exchange between two unknown characters.
One asks “What are you getting ready for?” The reply instantly validates the crossover rumors: “Heh heh heh… This time, I’m preparing a training plan that’s a bit different from usual. After all, stamina is essential for a Phantom Thief!”

The explicit mention of the “Phantom Thief” moniker, which refers to the main protagonists of “Persona 5”, confirms a collaboration is imminent.
The “Fitness Boxing” franchise, developed by Imagineer for the Nintendo Switch, has become known for blending rhythm-based boxing workouts with popular intellectual properties.

The series, which uses the Joy-Cons to track players’ punches and dodges, has previously released collaboration games such as “Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star” and “Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku”.

A crossover with the stylish world of “Persona 5” is highly anticipated by fans, who expect the core workout gameplay to be infused with the game’s vibrant, comic book aesthetic, iconic character designs, and critically acclaimed soundtrack.
The acid-jazz and high-energy tracks found in the Persona 5 games, composed by Shoji Meguro, are a natural fit for the game’s rhythm mechanics.

This surprise tease arrives just as ATLUS, the publisher of the “Persona” series, begins its celebrations for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
The company has launched a dedicated anniversary website and is scheduled to provide its first major update on January 8.

ATLUS has broadly hinted that 2026 will be a year filled with various new developments for the “Persona” series, and a high-profile spin-off like a “Fitness Boxing” collaboration appears to be one of the planned initiatives.
