First look at “Desktop Cute” figure of My Dress Up Darling’s Marin Kitagawa revealed
Taito has revealed the first look at a new prize figure featuring the popular character Marin Kitagawa from the hit anime series “My Dress-Up Darling”.
“My Dress-Up Darling,” which aired its first season in 2022, quickly gained a large following for its charming story about a high school boy with a passion for traditional Japanese dolls and a popular gyaru (fashion-conscious girl) named Marin who enlists his help with her cosplay endeavors.
Marin’s energetic personality and ever-changing array of cosplay outfits made her a standout character with fans.
The figure will be part of Taito’s “Desktop Cute” prize figure line and depicts Marin in her swimsuit, seemingly in the process of getting ready for measurements.
The “Desktop Cute” line from Taito is known for its adorable and compact figures designed to be easily displayed on desks or other small spaces.
This Marin Kitagawa figure is expected to follow that trend, offering fans a cute and collectible representation of their favorite character in a memorable scene.
Taito’s Marin Kitagawa “Desktop Cute” figure is set to be available from game and amusement centers across Japan in July 2025.
International fans may be able to purchase the figure from 3rd party retailers, as Taito’s prize figures are often available from general hobby goods stockists outside of Japan albeit with a release date several months after the Japanese prize release.
