Fire Emblem Shadows’ free Book 2 update adds Joachim: Wolf Brother

A major, free update has been announced for the mobile real-time strategy and social deduction game, Fire Emblem Shadows.
The update introduces the next part of the main story, adding new chapters, a new hero, and other content.
The new story, titled “Book 2 – Wolf Brother,” adds episodes 1-4 to the main campaign.

The plot begins as “unsettling footsteps approach a small, impoverished village quietly tucked away deep in the mountains…”
Players can unlock these new chapters by collecting “Story Fragments” earned from battles.
This update also introduces a new, unlockable hero: Joachim: Wolf Brother.
Described as a kind boy from a cold northern village, he is a descendant of wolves from the bloodline of Fenris. He can be unlocked by collecting the new Book 2 Story Fragments.
In addition to the new story, a new labyrinth map called “Forest” has been added, along with new weapons and weapon skills available as treasure rewards.

A daily login bonus campaign is also active, granting players 1,000 Gold just for logging in each day.
This bonus period is scheduled to run until November 24th.
For players with the Season Pass, the current season, “Wind of the Plains,” is available until October 27th.
The featured reward for this pass is Soul items for Lyn: Plain Wind, allowing players to recruit her as a disciple after collecting 12 of them.
Fire Emblem Shadows is a free-to-play mobile game that blends real-time strategy with social deduction, where players must fight for the light while uncovering a traitor in their midst.
