Explosive new figure of My Hero Academia’s Bakugo recreates his appearance in the series’ final battle

BANDAI SPIRITS has announced a new action figure based on Katsuki Bakugo’s resurrected appearance during the final, decisive battle from the My Hero Academia TV anime.

The figure joins a number of other entries in the same line that are based on the same story arc, with Himiko Toga and Tomura Shigaraki being the most recent to be announced.

“S.H.Figuarts Katsuki Bakugo -The Beginning-” is part of the S.H.Figuarts line of collector-focused premium action figures, which are known for a high level of articulation that allows for the recreation of dynamic action poses.

To accommodate the harsh action of the final battle, the figure’s articulation has been partially updated in comparison to previous releases, to allow for a greater range of motion.

The sculpt has been faithfully recreated with close attention to detail, including minor scratches and the suture marks on his heart.

A rich selection of optional parts is included, allowing fans to reenact the last battle.

A notable accessory is the inclusion of an interchangeable smiling expression part, capturing the moment he inherited a weapon from Armored All Might.

The full lineup of accessories is as follows:

  • Main Body
  • 3 left and 4 right interchangeable hand parts
  • 5 interchangeable expression parts
  • Interchangeable hair parts set
  • Explosion effect parts set 1
  • Explosion effect parts set 2

This release offers a definitive version for fans to relive the emotional climax of the final war.

The figure is priced at ¥11,000 (approx. $75 USD / £60 GBP) and pre-orders are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, the 21st of October, at 4:00 PM Japan Standard Time.

“S.H.Figuarts Katsuki Bakugo -The Beginning-” is an exclusive item for the “Tamashii Web Store” and orders can be placed via the Premium Bandai site.
