Exclusive Kith x Gundam Gunpla Kits Officially Launch in Japan

A collaboration between the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and a popular high-end streetwear brand is finally set to be released in Japan.
The “Kith for GUNPLA” collection, first released in December 2025 overseas, features two limited-edition plastic model kits designed to celebrate a major milestone for the lifestyle brand.

Mobile Suit Gundam is a legendary sci-fi franchise that has dominated the anime landscape since 1979, spawning a massive industry of model kits known as Gunpla.

Kith is a retail establishment and brand founded by Ronnie Fieg, renowned for its premium apparel and high-profile partnerships across various industries.

This latest Gunpla release is being held to commemorate the grand opening of the Kith Japan Official Online Store.

The collaboration takes two of the most iconic mobile suits in history and reimagines them with a unique color palette inspired by the fashion label.

Both figures feature a striking combination of Kith-exclusive orange and blue hues, replacing the traditional tricolor schemes usually associated with these protagonists.

The base models used are from the Master Grade (MG) line, which is known for its 1/100 scale, internal skeletal details, and high level of articulation.

Each kit comes housed in a specially designed “Kith for GUNPLA” box that reflects the premium nature of the partnership.

Collectors will also receive a sheet of stickers to customize the finished models with the brand’s logo and styling.

Standard accessories such as the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber, and Shield are included to ensure the models retain their display options and play value.
Let’s take a look at the two models!
- MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0

This unit is the original mobile suit piloted by Amuro Ray and features a classic design updated with modern engineering for maximum poseability.

- MG 1/100 Wing Gundam

Hailing from the 1990s hit Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, this transformable suit is famous for its ability to change into “Bird Mode” and its powerful Buster Rifle.

These items are being sold exclusively through a lottery system on the Kith App.

The entry period officially began on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 13:00 JST, and applications will remain open until Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 23:59 JST.

Participation is restricted to users with a registered address within Japan, with further details regarding the lottery process available on the official Kith website.
