Exclusive Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc merch to be sold at screenings in Japan

An extensive lineup of exclusive merchandise has been released to commemorate the theatrical premiere of the new film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1: Akaza’s Return.
The vast collection of goods became available for purchase at participating movie theaters across Japan yesterday, Friday, the 18th of July, coinciding with the film’s launch.
Fans viewing the film in Japan have also been able to pick up an exclusive Infinity Castle popcorn bucket from select cinemas.

Selling exclusive merchandise is a long-standing tradition for major film releases in Japan, with fans often lining up to purchase items available only at the cinemas.
The merchandise for the new Demon Slayer film is split into two main categories: a line produced by the film’s primary producer, Aniplex, and a separate, extensive collection from the animation studio, ufotable.
The Aniplex lineup includes a variety of different exclusive collectibles and accessories.

This comprehensive merchandise release offers a wide variety of commemorative items for fans attending the first chapter of the anime’s final arc.
It’s currently unknown as to whether the film’s international theatrical release will be accompanied by similar sales of merchandise within cinemas/theatres.
