Evangelion’s Official Cooling Jacket Collab Returns for Summer 2026 with 3 New Designs
Evangelion’s official industrial style fashion brand “A.T.FIELD EVANGELION WORK” has once again partnered with cooling apparel specialist COVELL, creating a new collection of short-sleeve air-conditioned work jackets featuring styling inspired by the iconic anime.
Neon Genesis Evangelion first debuted in 1995 and remains one of the most influential anime series ever created, blending psychological storytelling, giant biomechanical battles and distinctive visual design that continues to inspire collaborations across fashion, technology and lifestyle brands.
The A.T.FIELD EVANGELION WORK brand reimagines the series’ iconic defensive A.T. Field as a symbol of protection, durability and functionality, applying Evangelion-inspired aesthetics to professional tools and workwear designed for real-world use.
Created alongside COVELL, a Japanese brand specializing in cooling and heated apparel, the latest collaboration has been designed to deliver greater comfort for professionals working outdoors while also appealing to Evangelion fans looking for functional everyday clothing.
Available in Unit-01-inspired purple or black, as well as Unit-02-inspired red, the new short-sleeve cooling jackets incorporate Evangelion-influenced design elements and iconography whilst maintaining a clean industrial appearance, making it suitable for both workwear and casual outdoor use.
Its high-performance fabric efficiently expels heat trapped inside the garment to improve airflow, while a water-repellent outer coating helps resist rain and dirt in changing outdoor conditions.
Additional protection comes from a UPF50+ ultraviolet rating and a heat-shielding coating that helps reduce heat buildup caused by direct sunlight, improving comfort during hot summer weather.
A patented collar ventilation system directs airflow toward the neck to increase the cooling effect, while the integrated fan mounting system supports compatible cooling fan units with an attachment diameter of approximately 9 cm.
The jacket also includes multiple practical storage options, including chest pockets, internal pockets, dedicated battery storage and a compartment for cooling packs to support extended use throughout the workday.
Safety-focused features include compatibility with full-body safety harnesses through dedicated chest hooks and a rear lanyard opening, while the detachable hood allows the jacket to be adapted for different working environments.
The vest version of the A.T.FIELD COVELL cooling apparel, released back in 2025, is also still available, offering an option for fans who may prefer the sleeveless alternative.
The “A.T.FIELD COVELL Short Sleeve Cooling Jacket” is priced at ¥6,600 (approx. $46 USD / £33 GBP).
The jacket is now available to order through the G.B.Z Official Online Store, EVANGELION STORE, and other select retailers.
