Evangelion 30th Anniversary G-SHOCK watch revealed by CASIO

CASIO has announced a new collaboration model of its G-SHOCK watch, themed around the iconic anime series Evangelion.
The new timepiece is being released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original 1995 broadcast of the television series.

G-SHOCK is a globally popular line of watches known for its extreme durability and shock resistance.
This new partnership is based on the popular “GA-110” model, the same base that was used for the first G-SHOCK and Evangelion collaboration in 2010.

The design for the watch, based on Evangelion Unit-01, was created by Ikuto Yamashita, the original mecha designer for the Evangelion series.
His new, original artwork is a single, continuous illustration that is printed across the entire surface of the watch, a feat which required the use of a four-color printing process for the first time on a G-SHOCK.

The top of the watch strap depicts the EVA’s distinctive horn, the bezel shows its face, and the bottom of the strap is illustrated with its left arm as it prepares to throw the Spear of Longinus.

Other details from the series are also incorporated into the design.
The hand of the 9 o’clock subdial is shaped like an Angel, the Y-shaped part of the face features the series’ iconic “CAUTION” pattern, and the strap is printed with the “NEON GENESIS” and “NERV” logos.

The back of the watch is engraved with a special, 30th-anniversary logo, and the timepiece comes in a special, themed collector’s box.

The “GA-110EVA30” collaboration G-SHOCK is priced at ¥37,400 (approx. $255 USD/£188 GBP).
It is scheduled to be released on the 17th of October, 2025, with pre-orders opening on the 1st of October, 2025, via the official CASIO website.
