Early access opens for next-gen Hatsune Miku V6 voice synth

Crypton Future Media has officially released the Early Access version of their newest singing synthesis software, Hatsune Miku V6.
Launched on December 10, 2025, this trial version allows users to experience the next evolution of the virtual singer’s voice ahead of the official launch.

The new software is built on the VOCALOID6 engine, utilizing AI technology to synthesize more natural singing voices.
The full version is designed to be a multilingual powerhouse, capable of singing fluently in Japanese, English, and Chinese.

While the Chinese voice bank is expected to be added via a free update after the official release, the software is designed to weave these languages together seamlessly.

This special Early Access campaign is targeted specifically at loyal users of the franchise.
Owners of previous software titles, including VOCALOID2 Hatsune Miku, Hatsune Miku V3, Hatsune Miku V4X, Hatsune Miku V4 ENGLISH, Hatsune Miku V4 CHINESE, and the Piapro Characters Super Pack, can download this trial for free via the Sonicwire platform.

The trial offers the Japanese voice bank with full functionality for a period of “39 days,” a playful reference to the number 39 often associated with the character.
This software announcement rounds out a significant week for Hatsune Miku fans.

Just a few days ago, Kaiyodo opened pre-orders for a stunning new “Hatsune Miku 17th Anniversary Ver.” scale figure.

Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be a major year for the virtual idol, with the Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai” event confirmed to take place in three cities: Osaka, Tokyo, and Hamamatsu, and a North American tour scheduled for HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2026.

The Hatsune Miku V6 Early Access version is available for download starting today, December 10, 2025, with more details available via the official website.
The full commercial release of the software is scheduled for the first half of 2026.
