Durin and Jahoda revealed as upcoming Genshin Impact 6.2 characters
HoYoverse has officially revealed the splash art for two new characters, Durin and Jahoda, who are scheduled to be released in the upcoming Version 6.2 update for Genshin Impact.
The two new characters are both tied to the new “Nod-Krai” region, which was introduced in the “Luna I” update.
The announcement follows the recent release of the Version 6.1 character, Nefer, whose banner is available until November 11th.
Durin, a character whose name has been referenced in the game’s lore since its earliest Mondstadt storylines, has been officially revealed as a Pyro unit who will walk the Path of Destruction.

Once known as the evil dragon and rival of D’valin, Durin’s new character profile reveals that he has been gradually accepted by the people of Mondstadt, with stories of his mishaps with Klee often being told in the taverns.
In another character introduction, Fischl and Oz provided their unique assessment: “O scourge of the wicked wyrm Tasraque, beast who denies destiny’s yoke! Mine left eye hath pierced the weave of causality interwoven…””What mein Fräulein means to say is… uh, never mind.”
Jahoda has also been officially revealed as a new Anemo unit.
She is a key character in the “Nod-Krai” main story, working as an official employee at Nefer’s “Curatorium of Secrets” while also being a skilled treasure hunter.

Despite her clumsy and excitable personality, she has already become a fan favorite.
A character quote from Ineffa highlights her personality: “Very well, I will hug you, Jahoda. I will not leave your side.”
While it is not yet confirmed if both characters will be 5-stars, they are both scheduled to become playable in the Genshin Impact Version 6.2 update.
