Dragon Quest’s New Collab with Beef Bowl Giant Yoshinoya Serves Up Exclusive Collectibles

A new collaboration has been announced between the location-based mobile RPG Dragon Quest Walk and Japanese restaurant chain Yoshinoya, bringing exclusive collectibles, themed meals, and limited-edition rewards to fans throughout the summer.
The “Adventurer Support Campaign” combines Dragon Quest Walk’s monster-filled world with Yoshinoya’s signature menu, offering multiple ways for players and collectors to obtain exclusive merchandise inspired by the game.

Dragon Quest Walk is a smartphone RPG that transforms real-world locations into an interactive adventure, allowing players to battle monsters, complete quests, and explore their surroundings while progressing through an original Dragon Quest story.
One of the campaign’s headline attractions is the special Dragon Quest Walk Set, which combines a Yoshinoya beef bowl and mini salad with a randomly distributed exclusive figure.

The promotion will be divided into two separate phases, with each period featuring a different selection of collectible figures.
During the first phase, customers will have a chance to receive one of four designs consisting of Donburi Slime A, Yoshinoya Slamichi, Tsuyudaku Slime, or a Beni Shoga Cannibox.

The second phase introduces another four figures, including Donburi Slime B, Slamichi Yoshinoya Version, Donburi King, and a miniature Yoshinoya signboard featuring Slamichi.
Across both phases, a total of eight collectible figures will be available for fans hoping to complete the entire lineup.

The campaign also rewards customers who use the Yoshinoya mobile app when making purchases at participating locations.

For every ¥500 spent (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP), customers will earn one campaign point that can be accumulated and exchanged for exclusive rewards.
Collected points can be redeemed for any of the eight collaboration figures, allowing participants to choose specific designs rather than relying on random distribution.

Additional redemption items include a themed tea cup, a rice bowl, a tissue case inspired by the Hito-kui Beni Shoga Bako character, and a Metallic Monsters Gallery set featuring Yoshinoya Suramichi and a miniature Yoshinoya sign.
Fans ordering eligible takeaway items during the collaboration period will also receive their meals in specially designed containers and bags featuring artwork that blends Dragon Quest Walk imagery with Yoshinoya branding.

The themed packaging allows customers to continue the collaboration experience even after leaving the restaurant.
In addition to the in-store campaign, Yoshinoya’s official online shop will offer a separate limited-quantity collaboration set.
This online-exclusive package includes a melamine collaboration rice bowl alongside two 120 g portions of Yoshinoya’s frozen beef bowl ingredients, combining a collectible item with one of the chain’s most recognizable menu offerings.

The Dragon Quest Walk and Yoshinoya Adventurer Support Campaign will run at participating Yoshinoya locations across Japan from July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. through August 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., while the Dragon Quest Walk Set figures will be distributed between July 2 and July 29, 2026, across the campaign’s two phases.
The limited-edition online collaboration set featuring the melamine bowl and frozen beef bowls will also become available through Yoshinoya’s official online store beginning July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
