Dragon Ball Z’s New and Exclusive Battle-Damaged Frieza Figure Recreates the Namek Saga’s Epic Final Battle
Bandai has opened pre-orders for a new exclusive S.H.Figuarts figure based on Frieza from Dragon Ball Z, recreating the villain in his Full Power form during the closing stages of his battle with Super Saiyan Goku.
Frieza serves as the central antagonist of the Namek and Frieza Sagas, traveling to Planet Namek in search of the Dragon Balls and immortality before encountering Goku’s newly awakened Super Saiyan form.
After initially being overwhelmed, Frieza pushes his body to its full power and continues fighting as the planet collapses around them, creating one of the most memorable confrontations in the Dragon Ball franchise.
The new S.H.Figuarts Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- is based on his battered appearance during that final encounter, with damage and wound effects painted across his body to reflect the intensity of the battle.
The approximately 12.5 cm figure retains the exaggerated muscular proportions of Frieza’s full-power transformation, giving it a noticeably heavier and more imposing appearance than releases based on his regular final form.
A newly created defeated expression captures Frieza after the battle begins to turn against him, providing a more scene-specific display option alongside the other interchangeable faces.
The figure includes three interchangeable head parts, three pairs of interchangeable hands, replacement left and right ankle parts, and a separate tail, allowing several moments from the Namek fight to be recreated.
Bandai has also included a bonus interchangeable head for the separately sold S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku -The Legendary Super Saiyan- figure.
The additional part recreates Goku after releasing his Super Saiyan transformation, with his black hair blowing in the wind as he prepares to leave the dying planet.
Displaying the two figures together allows collectors to recreate both the height of their battle and its aftermath, making the bonus Goku part one of the release’s most notable additions.
S.H.Figuarts Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- is a Premium Bandai exclusive priced at $85 (approx. £64 GBP) through Premium Bandai US
and ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD / £50 GBP) through Premium Bandai Japan.
US pre-orders opened on July 25, 2026, while Japanese pre-orders began on August 4, 2026.
The figure is currently scheduled to begin shipping through Premium Bandai US and Premium Bandai Japan in March 2027.
