Dinghai: The Ocean Pillar, a Roguelike Action RPG, Announced for PC

Justdan International officially announced the development of Dinghai: The Ocean Pillar on June 6, 2026, during the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2026.

This new title is a roguelike action RPG inspired by the ancient Chinese text known as the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

The game is scheduled for a 2026 release on PC via the Steam platform and will feature localization support for English, Japanese, Korean, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

Players assume the role of the Abyssal Dragon, a former general under Emperor Yan who has been resurrected in the body of Yi, the godson of the legendary hero Yu.

The narrative follows this protagonist as he navigates a world devastated by catastrophic floods and divine warfare while seeking answers regarding his past and the disappearance of Yu.

Combat in the game utilizes a dual weapon system that allows players to switch between different weapon types to create synergies against mythological enemies.

As a roguelike experience, the game features a cycle of death and rebirth where each attempt allows the player to unlock new abilities and uncover deeper layers of the story.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the title’s mythic environments, ranging from celestial islands to storm-lashed mountain ranges.
