Demi and the Fractured Dream Pushed Back to February 2027

Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Yarn Owl have confirmed that the upcoming action adventure title Demi and the Fractured Dream has been delayed to February 27, 2027.

Originally slated for a release in 2026, the shift in schedule was announced on June 7, 2026, to allow for further development of the project.

Players will take on the role of Demi, a Voidsent capable of harnessing the powers of the void while battling a curse that both empowers and threatens them.

Set in the mysterious world of Somnus, the journey involves traveling through diverse landscapes like the Desert Kingdom and the Marsh Kingdom to defeat three Accursed Beasts.

The gameplay focuses on classic action-adventure elements, incorporating environmental puzzles, platforming, and a combat system that rewards well timed dodges with void energy.

Demi and the Fractured Dream is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and the upcoming Switch 2 hardware.

PC players will be able to access the game through several digital storefronts, including Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.

This announcement follows the release of a new gameplay trailer that showcases the title’s magic, tools, and ability-enhancing charms.
