Limited Edition Berserk Skate Deck Revealed by Dark Horse
Dark Horse Direct has announced a new high-end collectible for the Berserk franchise, translating Kentaro Miura’s legendary artwork onto a functional skate deck.
The “Berserk Skate Deck: Guts’ Rage” offers fans a choice between a Standard edition and a striking Foil Variant.
Both decks feature a design inspired by a single page panel from Volume 7 of the manga, capturing the protagonist Guts in a moment of intense ferocity.
The artwork depicts the Black Swordsman leading the Band of the Hawk into the final clash at the Battle of Doldrey, a pivotal conflict in the Golden Age arc that marked the end of a century-long war.
This specific moment highlights Guts’ role as the Raiders Captain, charging headfirst into enemy lines with the reckless abandon that defines his character during this era.
The Foil Variant elevates the image with a metallic crimson red background, adding a shimmering, bloody aesthetic to the scene, while the Standard version presents the artwork in its natural coloration.
Berserk, created by the late Kentaro Miura, is widely regarded as one of the most influential dark fantasy works in history.
The series follows the tragic and violent journey of Guts, a lone mercenary who becomes entangled with Griffith and the Band of the Hawk, eventually facing supernatural horrors marked by the Brand of Sacrifice.
The Battle of Doldrey serves as a narrative high point for the Golden Age arc, showcasing the strategic brilliance of Griffith and the martial prowess of Guts before the story descends into the cosmic horror of the Eclipse.
Each skate deck is crafted from 7-ply 100% Canadian Maple wood (also known as American Maple) and features a steep concave shape for performance.
While the topside retains a natural wood finish, the underside displays the full-color heat transfer printing of the artwork, flanked by the Brand of Sacrifice and the Berserk logo in bold white lettering across the middle.
These decks are sold as “board only” items, meaning trucks, wheels, and grips are not included, making them equally suitable for mounting on a wall as a display piece or for assembly as a rideable board.
The “Berserk Skate Deck: Guts’ Rage” is priced at $100.00 USD (approx. £78.00 GBP / 14,800 JPY) for both the Standard and Foil Variants.
Pre-orders are currently open via the Dark Horse Direct website, with a purchase limit of two decks per customer.
Shipping is scheduled to begin between April and May 2026.
