Danganronpa V3’s Ultimate Pianist Joins Good Smile’s Nendoroid Lineup
A new Nendoroid figure of Kaede Akamatsu, the optimistic protagonist of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, has been announced.
It was revealed during the “Nendoroid FUNS 2026 Winter” online presentation on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony thrusts high school students with exceptional talents into a “Killing School Semester,” where Kaede initially takes charge as the group’s leader.
Possessing a cheerful and assertive personality, she is driven by a strong desire to escape the academy with everyone and end the killing game.
She is recognized by her distinctive visual design, which includes long blonde hair adorned with musical note hairpins and a skirt featuring a sheet music pattern, reflecting her title as the Ultimate Pianist.
Her “piano freak” nature often surfaces in her dialogue, where she uses musical metaphors to encourage her classmates.
The Nendoroid figure is expected to capture her bright energy, likely including face plates that range from her confident smile to a determined expression used during Class Trials.
Fans will also hope for accessories that reference her talent, such as a miniature piano or a conductor’s baton.
This reveal complements the announcement of the “Nendoroid Shuichi Saihara” figure from the same event, allowing collectors to display the two protagonists together.
It also joins a strong lineup of visual novel and horror titles, such as the Silent Hill f figures of Hinako Shimizu and the Fox Mask, and the re-releases of the Persona series protagonists.
The event also featured major RPG announcements, including the Final Fantasy wave featuring the Chocobo and Warrior of Light, and the Wuthering Waves duo of Jinhsi and Changli.
The “Nendoroid Kaede Akamatsu” does not yet have a confirmed price or release date.
Information regarding the release schedule will be announced at a later date by Good Smile Company.
It will be available via the Good Smile Company Official Shop, as well as participating partner shops, such as HobbyLink Japan.
