Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Is Officially Heading to Apex Legends as New Collaboration Confirmed

Respawn Entertainment has officially announced that Apex Legends will be teaming up with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, marking the first crossover between the battle royale shooter and Studio Trigger’s acclaimed anime series.
Apex Legends is the free-to-play hero shooter set in the Titanfall universe, featuring a growing roster of unique Legends with distinct abilities that compete in fast-paced squad-based battles across a variety of maps and seasonal events.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the award-winning anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, following street kid David Martinez as he becomes an outlaw mercenary in the futuristic metropolis of Night City alongside legendary netrunner Lucy and a colorful cast of cyber-enhanced allies.

Although the collaboration has now been confirmed, Respawn has yet to reveal exactly when the event will begin or what content players can expect when it arrives.

The announcement was made through coordinated posts on the official Apex Legends and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners social media accounts, with each sharing half of a single promotional image.
When the two images are combined, they recreate one of the anime’s most memorable scenes while teasing the upcoming crossover between the two franchises.
Fans quickly noticed what appear to be Apex Legends characters Sparrow and Accel dressed in outfits inspired by David Martinez and Lucy, leading many to speculate that themed character skins will headline the collaboration.

While no additional cosmetics, gameplay content, or event rewards have been officially confirmed, the first teaser has already generated considerable excitement across the community as players speculate about what other Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-inspired content could be included.

Respawn is expected to share additional details about the collaboration, including its launch schedule and full lineup of content, at a later date.
Apex Legends is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and EA App.
