Converse has teamed up with Dragon Ball Z for a new limited-edition collection inspired by the legendary series’ unforgettable heroes, villains and iconic creatures, combining classic streetwear with one of anime’s most influential franchises.

Dragon Ball Z first aired in 1989 and helped introduce anime to audiences around the world, becoming one of the genre’s defining series through its larger-than-life battles, memorable characters and lasting influence on popular culture.

Drawing inspiration from across the series, the collection transforms Converse’s classic Chuck Taylor silhouettes with character-driven colors, custom graphics and exclusive detailing that celebrates some of Dragon Ball Z’s most recognizable faces.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck 70 “Shenron”, priced at $100 USD (approx. £74 GBP), serves as the premium centerpiece of the collection, featuring premium canvas construction, durable laces and detailed artwork inspired by the Eternal Dragon alongside classic Chuck Taylor branding.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Goku”, priced at $80 USD (approx. £59 GBP), recreates the hero’s signature orange and blue color palette, while bespoke ankle patches and custom tongue details reference the legendary Saiyan throughout the design.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Vegeta”, priced at $80 USD (approx. £59 GBP), takes inspiration from the proud Saiyan Prince with a bold blue, white and red color scheme influenced by his iconic battle armor.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Frieza”, priced at $80 USD (approx. £59 GBP), adopts the villain’s distinctive white and purple appearance, creating a clean but instantly recognizable tribute to one of the series’ greatest antagonists.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Cell”, priced at $80 USD (approx. £59 GBP), features green and black tones inspired by the Perfect Android’s unmistakable appearance while retaining the timeless Chuck Taylor silhouette.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Majin Buu” Grade School edition, priced at $55 USD (approx. £41 GBP), embraces the character’s bright pink color palette in a youth-exclusive design that captures the look of one of the franchise’s most unpredictable villains.

The Dragon Ball Z x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Fusion” Grade School edition, priced at $55 USD (approx. £41 GBP), completes the footwear lineup with a design inspired by the famous Fusion technique that produced some of Dragon Ball Z’s strongest warriors.

Alongside the footwear, the collaboration also includes two Dragon Ball Z graphic T-shirts and a matching hoodie featuring artwork inspired by the series’ explosive action and unforgettable characters.
