Control: Resonant ‘Paranatural Manhattan’ Trailer Revealed

Remedy Entertainment has announced new details for the supernatural action RPG CONTROL Resonant through a new “Paranatural Manhattan” trailer.

The upcoming title is scheduled for release on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Creative director Mikael Kasurinen noted that the development team aims to capture the atmosphere of the original game by featuring the return of the Oldest House.

The trailer is narrated by Emily Pope, who transitions from her previous role to serve as the acting director of the Federal Bureau of Control.

Players will control Dylan Faden as they explore a twisted version of New York City that contains various diverse zones and unique enemy factions.

This environment is described as the largest and most detailed world created by Remedy Entertainment to date, featuring biomes located above ground, deep below, and in alternate dimensions.

Gameplay will involve a mix of story missions, side quests focused on hunting rogue Altered Items, boss fights, and various puzzles.

The promotional video features an exclusive song titled Manalan Mailla, performed by Finnish ethno-pop artist Vilma Jaa and produced by Teemu Brunila and Jurek.

Vilma Jaa explained that the track draws inspiration from the Ingrian runonlaulu tradition and incorporates traditional herding calls.

The reveal was shared on June 5, 2026, as part of the Summer Game Fest activities.
