Code Geass themed rooms coming to popular Tokyo hotel
A collaboration between popular Tokyo hotel “The New Otani“ and anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion has been announced.
For a limited time between Friday, November 15, 2024 and Sunday, February 16, 2025, visitors to the New Otani Hotel can book a special collaboration room package.
Two rooms in the hotel will be converted to a themed room with elements based on the anime, with themed duvet covers, pillows, window decorations and even life size character standees of Lelouch Lamperouge and Suzaku Kururugi.
Visitors who purchase the collaboration package will also receive 4 exclusive gifts that can be taken home to remember their stay.
A “photo clear card” (1), mini bed covers (2), room nameplates (3) and a room key holder (4) make up the exclusive package.
Special artwork has been created for the collaboration, with the main promotional images featuring Lelouch in the uniform of the Hotel New Otani front desk staff and Suzaku wearing a bellboy uniform.
A set of chibi characters has also been designed and will be present on elements in the collaboration room. Popular characters C.C. and Kallen join Lelouch and Suzaku, with each character relaxing whilst wearing the robes available to guest in their room.
To make the collaboration even more special for fans of Code Geass, a special room welcome message has been recorded by the voice actors of Suzaku and Lelouch and will be played as you enter the room.
Reservations for the Code Geass x Hotel New Otani collaboration package begin on the 12th of October via the official website.
The Garden Tower Standard Room is the only room available for the package and will cost 46,00 yen per night for solo travellers or 78,000 yen for two people per night. Breakfast is not included in the package as standard, but is available to purchase at an additional cost of 3,000 yen per person.
Anime themed hotel rooms are becoming more popular, with multiple hotels having announced collaborations recently, such as the Black Butler themed rooms at the Sunshine Prince City Hotel in Ikebukuro.
