Classic Vocaloid song “World is Mine” reimagined for new Hatsune Miku figure
Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for a new scale figure of Hatsune Miku based on the classic song, “World is Mine.”
The “Hatsune Miku: World is Mine 2024 Ver.” figure is based on a new illustration from the song’s original illustrator.
“World is Mine,” produced by ryo of supercell, was one of the most influential early songs for the virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
Released in 2008, its “tsundere princess” theme and the iconic accompanying illustration by redjuice helped to define Miku’s character and propelled her to a new level of global popularity.
The original artwork, which depicted Miku playfully lying down, has become one of the most famous images associated with the character.
For 2024, the original illustrator, redjuice, created a new version of the artwork, reimagining the scene with a more mature and refined style.
This new 1/7 scale figure is a direct, three-dimensional adaptation of that new 2024 illustration.
The figure’s sculpt was created by Sakurako Iwanaga of the artistic circle “Shoujo Shokubutsuen.”
Iwanaga is a sculptor known for a delicate and graceful style, which has been applied to capture the character’s slender and detailed form as envisioned in redjuice’s new artwork.
This new figure, which stands at approx. 21.4cm tall, brings together the original artist and a celebrated sculptor to create a new tribute to a historic piece of Vocaloid culture.
Pre-orders for the new “Hatsune Miku: World is Mine 2024 Ver.” figure are now open and it is priced at ¥27,800.
Shipping is currently scheduled for October of 2026 and pre-orders for the figure will remain open until the 3rd of September, 2025 via the official Good Smile Company store.
