Capcom has officially revealed Resident Evil Veronica, a modern remake of the classic survival horror title Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

The announcement was made during Summer Game Fest 2026, where the publisher confirmed that the project is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Development is being handled using Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE technology, the same framework that has powered several recent entries and remakes within the series.
