Citizen Sleeper and Its Sequel Starward Vector Arriving on Switch 2 June 25

Fellow Traveller and developer Jump Over the Age have announced that Switch 2 versions of Citizen Sleeper and its sequel, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, will be released on June 25, 2026.

Current owners of the games on the original Nintendo Switch will be eligible for a free upgrade to the new Switch 2 editions upon their release.

The original Citizen Sleeper first debuted on May 5, 2022, for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC before expanding to PlayStation consoles on March 31, 2023.

Its follow-up, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, initially launched on January 31, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox Series, and PC platforms.

These updated versions for Nintendo’s latest hardware will introduce technical enhancements, including 4K resolution at 2160p while in TV mode.

Both narrative RPGs will also support full HD 1080p resolution and a performance target of 60 frames per second across TV, tabletop, and handheld modes.

Players in the first title must navigate life on the lawless station known as Erlin’s Eye while the sequel shifts focus to a new Sleeper pilot and their crew in the Starward Belt.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the improved visual fidelity ahead of the June 25, 2026, launch date.
