Chronoscript: The Endless End Arrives This Fall

Publisher Shueisha Games and developer DeskWorks! announced on June 6, 2026, that the exploration based action adventure title Chronoscript: The Endless End will launch this fall.
The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and PC via the Steam platform.
Players take on the role of Frederick G Muller, a taciturn editor who becomes trapped within a magical manuscript after visiting a secluded mountain manor in the year AD 2026.
Within the story, Frederick must navigate a thousand year narrative to assist the author, an immortal vampire named Viola S Chambers, in finally reaching the conclusion of her endless tale.
The gameplay features a unique blend of 3D exploration within the writer’s manor and 2D side scrolling action inside the ink illustrated pages of the manuscript.
Hand drawn pen and ink artwork defines the visual style, utilizing frame by frame animation to depict the protagonist and the corrupted souls known as The Ruined.
As part of the announcement at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2026, a new prologue trailer was released to showcase the character designs and the Ancient Egypt stage.
Shueisha Games confirmed that the title will include hard hitting action mechanics, allowing players to unlock dynamic ink traversing moves and unique combat abilities.
