Celebrate 30 years of Gundam Wing with a new limited-edition pin collection
A new, limited-edition pin set has been announced by the official Gundam-themed apparel brand STRICT-G, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
The new product is a premium, six-piece pin set that comes in a special, decorative acrylic case.
The set includes one pin featuring artwork of Heero and Relena created for the series’ 30th anniversary celebrations.
It also includes five individual pins of the main pilots: Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei.
These five pins are arranged in the shape of a “W” within the case, as a tribute to the series’ title.
This new release is a unique and limited-edition collectible that celebrates the long legacy of the beloved 90s anime.
The “STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Pin Set” is priced at ¥5,500 (approx. $37 USD / £30 GBP).
The new collection will be made available in two phases.
An advance pre-order period for the set began on Thursday, the 16th of October, on the “STRICT-G Online Store” within the Premium Bandai website.
The pre-order window is scheduled to run until the 3rd of November.
An in-store release is scheduled to follow at the four physical STRICT-G retail locations starting on Saturday, the 1st of November.
The stores are located at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, the NEOPASA Shizuoka Expressway service area, and the Taga Expressway service area.
