Capcom Reveals Exclusive BABYMETAL x Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Collab Merch
Japanese kawaii metal band BABYMETAL has officially revealed the full lineup of exclusive merchandise for its major collaboration with Capcom’s legendary survival horror franchise Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan).
The “BABYMETAL x RESIDENT EVIL 30th Anniversary” merch collection blends the dark aesthetic of the iconic video game series with the energy of the heavy metal group.
The partnership between the two entertainment juggernauts was initially teased back in November 2025 through a special promotional video.
The initial announcement featured the towering antagonist Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village, who formally declared that the two brands had agreed to produce collaborative merchandise.
This unique crossover serves as a major part of the ongoing 30th-anniversary celebrations for the long-running survival horror franchise.
Capcom has been heavily promoting the milestone year, which officially kicked off in August 2025 with commemorative artwork and continued with the successful launch of the ninth main installment, Resident Evil Requiem, in February 2026.
BABYMETAL, active since 2010, brings its immense global popularity and unique sound to the project, resulting in a stylish fusion of horror and heavy metal aesthetics.
The newly revealed “BABYMETAL x RESIDENT EVIL 30th Anniversary” collection features completely original artwork created specifically for this crossover.
Capcom enlisted the talents of illustrator Hinanana alongside graphic designer GOTO to produce the striking new visuals that decorate the clothing and acrylic items.
Fans looking to wear the collaboration can choose from several apparel options, including “The Ladies Tee” and “The Dolls Tee”, which prominently feature the newly commissioned artwork.
The lineup also includes a heavier “Metal Outbreak Zip-Up Hoodie” for colder weather.
Collectors can pick up “The Ladies Acrylic Stand” for display, or try their luck with “The Dolls Random Acrylic Keychain”, which offers one of four distinct designs distributed completely at random.
