Capcom Confirms Monster Hunter Wilds Is Heading to Switch 2

Capcom has officially revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds is being developed for Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement was made through the company’s social media channels, where it confirmed that work on the new version is currently underway.
According to Capcom, additional details regarding the Switch 2 release, including its launch schedule, will be shared at a later date.
Monster Hunter Wilds originally debuted on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 28, 2025.

The action RPG has continued to receive support following its release and remains one of the major entries in Capcom’s long-running Monster Hunter franchise.
Alongside the Switch 2 announcement, Capcom also unveiled a major upcoming expansion titled Ascendance.

Further information about both the Switch 2 edition and the Ascendance expansion is expected to be released in the future, while no pricing or release date details for the Nintendo Switch 2 version have yet been announced.
