Become a real-life "Slime Knight" with these new Dragon Quest big cushions

Square Enix is currently selling a pair of massive cushions shaped like the iconic Slime monster from its legendary Dragon Quest role-playing game series.

The new products are part of the long-running “Smile Slime” line of merchandise, which transforms the creatures of the series into a wide range of household goods.

The Slime is one of the most famous and recognizable characters in all of video games, known for its teardrop shape and cheerful grin.

These new “Smile Slime Big Cushions” are enormous, human-sized recreations of the monster, measuring approximately 65 centimeters wide, 60 centimeters long, and 60 centimeters tall.

The cushions are designed to be large enough for an adult to comfortably sit on.

This has led fans on social media to point out that by sitting on the cushion, you can effectively become a real-life version of another famous monster from the series, the “Slime Knight.”

Two different versions of the giant cushion are available.

One is the classic blue Slime, while the other is the rare and elusive Metal Slime, known for its high defense and for granting a large amount of experience points in the games.

A special gift set is also available, which bundles the cushion with a “Wrapping Big Drawstring Bag” that features a crossover illustration of a Slime and a Chocobo from the Final Fantasy series.

Orders can now be placed via the official Square Enix online store, with the “Smile Slime Big Cushion” in either the Slime or Metal Slime version priced at ¥17,380.
