Banpresto Recreates Iconic Bleach Manga Cover for New Grimmjow Figure

Banpresto has announced the release of a new prize figure featuring the Sixth Espada, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, from the hit anime and manga franchise Bleach.
This release is the latest entry in the “MAXIMATIC” series, a brand known for producing large-scale figures that emphasize cool poses and commanding presence.

Grimmjow remains one of the most enduring antagonists in Tite Kubo’s series, serving as a fierce and destructive rival to the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki during the Arrancar arc.
The character is defined by his primal desire to be the “King” and his aggressive fighting style, characteristics that are central to this new collectible.

The figure specifically pays homage to the cover art of the manga’s 24th volume, titled “Immanent God Blues.”

Sculptors have faithfully recreated the character’s arrogant stance from the source illustration, capturing the exact energy of the original drawing.
Grimmjow is depicted with his left hand resting confidently on the hilt of his Zanpakuto, Pantera, which is sheathed at his hip.

His right hand reaches outward with clawed fingers, a gesture that evokes the charging of a deadly Cero energy blast.
The sculpting meticulously details his jagged hollow mask fragment located on his right jaw and his signature unruly blue hair.
He is dressed in the standard white Arrancar uniform, which is worn open to reveal his chest and distinct muscular build.

Standing at approximately 25cm tall, the figure utilizes the generous sizing of the MAXIMATIC line to deliver a high level of detail in the clothing folds.
The scale allows for a substantial display piece that rivals more expensive scale figures in terms of visual impact.

The “BLEACH MAXIMATIC Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez” officially debuted in game centers across Japan on January 14, 2026.
International availability via hobby goods retailers is expected to follow approximately two months after this initial Japanese arcade debut.
