Bandai teases new Tallgeese figure alongside two new Gundam Wing releases

Bandai Spirits has teased that a “METAL ROBOT Spirits” figure of the iconic mobile suit Tallgeese is in development.
The reveal was made alongside the launch of pre-orders of a “METAL ROBOT Spirits” figure of its primary rival, the Wing Gundam.

This news comes as part of the ongoing 30th anniversary celebration for the classic anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

The teaser for the Tallgeese, the formidable mobile suit piloted by Zechs Merquise, was revealed via a silhouette on the product page for the new Wing Gundam figure, confirming for fans that the series’ iconic duo will be represented in the premium figure line.

While the Tallgeese is still in development, pre-orders are set to open for two other major releases based on the Gundam Wing the series.
The first is the “METAL ROBOT Spirits Wing Gundam.”

This high-end, articulated figure is a faithful recreation of the mobile suit from the original television series, featuring die-cast metal parts and a paint scheme designed to evoke the look of 90s cel animation.

The figure includes an original wing-tip slide gimmick, can fully transform into its “Bird Mode,” and comes with its signature Buster Rifle and a shield.
Launching for pre-order simultaneously is the “S.H.Figuarts Heero Yuy.”

This highly-articulated action figure of the main protagonist is designed to be a companion piece to the Wing Gundam.

The figure depicts Heero in his well-known tank top and shorts outfit from the second episode of the series and includes accessories like his handgun, a detonation switch, and interchangeable bandaged limbs.

The “METAL ROBOT Spirits Wing Gundam” is priced at 19,800 yen (approx. $134 USD / £99 GBP) and is scheduled to ship in January 2026.
The “S.H.Figuarts Heero Yuy” is priced at 9,900 yen (approx. $67.43 USD / £49.91 GBP) and is scheduled to ship in February 2026.
Pre-orders for both the Wing Gundam and the Heero Yuy figures are scheduled to open on Friday, the 25th of July, at 4:00 PM Japan Standard Time.
