Bandai reveals the best look yet at the upcoming HG 1/144 Galluss-J Gunpla kit

New official product images, including the box art design, have been released for the upcoming “HG 1/144 Galluss-J” Gunpla kit from Bandai Spirits.
This release marks the first time that the classic mobile suit from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ has been made into a modern High Grade model kit.

The Galluss-J is a frontline combat mobile suit developed by the antagonist faction, Neo Zeon, in the 1986 anime.

This new High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale model kit is a faithful recreation of the machine’s unique and bulky design.
The kit features a number of modern engineering elements and gimmicks.

The head unit’s mono-eye sensor can be repositioned by swapping out parts, allowing for a change in the mobile suit’s gaze.
The hip joint features a drop-down mechanism, which expands the range of motion in the legs for more dynamic posing.

A variety of the suit’s signature armaments are also included.
The model comes with its unique Energy Gun, and a beam saber whose hilt can be stored on the rear skirt armor.

Interchangeable parts are included to display the shoulder missile hatches in their open, firing state.
A separate set of parts is also provided to recreate the suit’s “Arm Punch” melee attack mechanism.

The “HG 1/144 Galluss-J” is priced at ¥2,750, and it is scheduled to be released at general retail stores on Friday, the 8th of August, 2025.
