Bandai reveals massive new Hypered Gundam figure based on the GQuuuuuuX finale
Pre-orders are set to open for a massive new action figure recreating the climax of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
The new “ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Hypered Gundam (GQ)” is a surprising commercialization of the mobile suit’s final form.
Standing at an impressive height of approximately 40 centimeters, this high-end figure utilizes die-cast parts to create a heavy, premium feel.
It faithfully reproduces the white body color and bold, perspective-defying imagery of the hyperized mobile suit seen in the show’s finale.
While its main armament consists of two simple beam sabers, the set is packed with unique accessories to recreate specific scenes.
It includes mini-figures of “GQuuuuuuX” and “GFreD,” along with a special hand part designed to capture GFreD.
A massive “Hyper Beam Axe Effect Part” is included to reproduce the final scene, complete with a dedicated support stand.
This effect part is designed to be held by the included GQuuuuuuX mini-figure or by the separately sold “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> GQuuuuuuX.”
This high-end release complements the recent wave of standard retail announcements for the series.
Bandai Spirits recently released official images for the “HG 1/144 White Gundam” and “HG 1/144 Char’s Zaku (GQ),” which are also scheduled for release in December.
The “ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Hypered Gundam (GQ)” is priced at 29,700 yen (approx. $196.00 USD / £154.40 GBP).
Pre-orders are scheduled to open on December 5 via the Premium Bandai online store.
The figure is scheduled to ship in June 2026.
