Bandai Reveals Code Vein II Character Creator Demo And Massive New Trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released an extensive eight-minute walkthrough trailer for their highly anticipated action RPG, Code Vein II.
The trailer provides players with a deep dive into the next installment of the challenging dark fantasy franchise.

In addition to showcasing new footage, the publisher announced a Character Creator Demo is slated for release later this month, allowing fans to get their hands on a portion of the game experience ahead of launch.
This preparatory experience will grant users the opportunity to craft their own unique Revenant Hunter, with the resulting character model being fully transferable to the complete game upon release.

Players will also be able to explore the Magmell Institute within the demo, where features such as a Photo Mode and the hot spring area will be accessible.
Code Vein II continues the series with a deep, intertwined narrative where characters and the player are bound by blood and destiny.

The setting is a future on the brink of collapse, where the last vestiges of humanity and the supernatural Revenants struggle for survival.
A sudden cataclysmic event, known as the emergence of the Luna Rapacis, has caused many Revenants to descend into a terrifying madness, transforming them into grotesque monsters dubbed Horrors.

The player steps into the role of a Revenant Hunter, whose journey to halt the world’s destruction is guided by Lou, a mysterious girl who possesses the unique ability to manipulate time.
As the Hunter, the player must travel to the past and intervene in key historical moments, altering the destinies of specific Revenant characters to uncover hidden truths and ultimately save the future.

The gameplay experience promises intense and satisfying combat typical of the action RPG genre. Survival hinges on the player’s ability to read enemy movements and master a diverse arsenal of weapons.
The distinctive battle system remains central to Code Vein II as players drain and acquire blood from their defeated enemies, which is then used to unlock a variety of powerful skills.

The title introduces a new build system, granting players the freedom to extensively customize their weapons and skills to fit their personal combat style.
Strategy is built around managing these resources with Blood codes and utilizing unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome daunting foes and epic bosses.

The player will forge powerful bonds with Partner allies who fight alongside them, each offering distinct skills, narrative connections, and the ability to enhance the player’s own capabilities, shaping the overall journey.
Code Vein II is officially scheduled for launch on January 30, and the Character Creator Demo is scheduled to become available on January 23.

The title will be available across major platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, bringing the dark adventure to a wide audience.
