Bandai offers fans a detailed look at the upcoming MG Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka

The fully painted prototype of the highly anticipated “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka” has been officially unveiled by the BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, after previously only being teased with line art.
This new Gunpla is the latest entry in the “Master Grade Ver.Ka” (Version Katoki) series, a high-end line of 1/100 scale model kits that are personally designed and supervised by the legendary mecha designer, Hajime Katoki.

The kit is based on the iconic, heavily armored mobile suit from the classic 1986 anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam ΖΖ.
A key feature of this new model is its versatility.

By assembling the “additional armor” parts, builders can create the “Full Armor ZZ Gundam,” which includes its massive, backpack-mounted “Hyper Mega Cannon.”
Alternatively, these armor parts can be removed to build and display the mobile suit as the “Enhanced ZZ Gundam.”

The design of the additional armor has been carefully engineered with finely adjusted parts to create a powerful, “fitted” silhouette that does not appear overly bulky.
The kit also features advanced articulation, such as a roll mechanism in the forearms, which allows the arm to twist and hold its Double Beam Rifle in a horizontal position without the armor interfering.

The “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka” includes a full set of armaments, such as the Double Beam Rifle, the Hyper Mega Cannon, beam sabers, and shields, as well as a sheet of high-quality water-slide decals.
The new model kit is priced at ¥12,540 (approx. $85 USD / £67 GBP) and it is scheduled to be released at general retail stores in February 2026.
