Bandai Namco opens new experiential mega-store in the heart of Shibuya

The new experiential retail facility, “Bandai Namco Cross Store MAGNET by SHIBUYA109,” has officially opened its doors in Tokyo.
The store, operated by Bandai Namco Experience, held its grand opening on Friday, the 1st of August, 2025.

“Bandai Namco Cross Store” is a large-scale retail concept that brings together the products and characters from various companies across the Bandai Namco group into a single location.

The goal is to create a space where fans can see, touch, and experience a wide range of official brands and merchandise.

This new Shibuya location was announced earlier this year, and the store is situated in the basement of the MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 building. It houses a total of ten different official shops.

The lineup includes an “Ichiban Kuji Official Shop,” offering a massive selection of the popular “no-lose” prize lottery tickets.

A “30 MINUTES LABEL ZONE” is dedicated to Bandai’s line of customizable plastic model kits, and sells an exclusive “30MF Azalea Holy Knight” kit.

The “ONE PIECE Card Game Official Shop” provides a dedicated space for the trading card game, with a play area for tournaments and teaching sessions.

MegaHouse’s “Look Up Shop” is the first-ever official store for its popular line of upward-gazing chibi figures.

Other stores include the “Tamagotchi no Omise” for the classic virtual pets, and “TAMASHII NATIONS” for high-end collector action figures like S.H.Figuarts and Robot Spirits.

A “shop Nui” area offers a variety of plush toys and includes special photo spots designed for “nui-dori,” or plushie photography.

The facility also features a “Sunstar Bungu no Omise” for character stationery, a “BANDAI CANDY OFFICIAL SHOP” for candy toys, and a “Lifestyle Bandai” shop for apparel and cosmetics.

A dedicated area will also host rotating, limited-time pop-up stores, with the first two featuring Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX and Persona 3 Reload.

The new store is located at MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 B1F, 1-23-10 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
