Sales have officially begun for a special new edition of the Atari 2600+ console, inspired by one of the most iconic video game characters of all time.

The new system is the “Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition,” a collaboration between Atari and PLAION.

The Atari 2600+ is a modern recreation of the legendary home console, updated with features like HDMI output, USB-C power, and aspect ratio switching (4:3 / 16:9).

This special edition features a bright yellow shell inspired by Pac-Man, with a front panel that lights up to reveal an illustration of the character when the console is powered on.

In addition to the console bundle, standalone “CX-40+ Wireless Joysticks” are also being released in five different colors.
