AMC Theatres reveals Demon Slayer popcorn bucket and character cups

A new line of exclusive, collectible concession items has been revealed at AMC Theatres in the United States to celebrate the upcoming theatrical release of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc.
The new merchandise includes a new popcorn tin and a series of unique character cups.

The new popcorn tin is designed to resemble the “Infinity Castle,” the mysterious stronghold of the main antagonist, Muzan Kibutsuji.

Its sides are decorated with striking panels featuring artwork of Tanjiro, Nezuko, the Hashira, and other fan-favorite characters.

This bucket appears to be the same one previewed by other cinema chains, which has led to many fans deeming the U.S. merchandise offerings for the film “underwhelming” when compared to other cinema chains globally.

In Malaysia, the Golden Screen Cinemas chain released a large, square aluminum popcorn tin that features a special, light-up “Infinity LED Lid.”

In Japan, the T-Joy cinema chain offered a “Demon Slayer Memorial Popcorn Bucket,” which has a unique, rotating inner wall that can be turned to reveal different character visuals and scenes from the series.

T-Joy also recently revealed another anime-themed popcorn bucket, with the cinema chain set to release an amazing replica of Chainsaw Man’s head as a bucket for the upcoming Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie when it releases in Japan later this September.

AMC is, however, offering a range of four different collectible character cups, which have a particularly creative design.
The cups are themed after the characters Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, and Shinobu Kocho.

Each cup’s lid and straw are cleverly designed to replicate the unique hilt and handguard of that specific character’s personal Nichirin Sword.
Pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed by AMC, but as the film is set to begin early screenings on the 9th of September, ahead of its official 12th September release date, we can expect this information to arrive shortly.
