Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian season 2

The second season of the anime series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is officially scheduled to premiere in 2027.

The announcement was made during a dedicated stage event at AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28, 2026, where several new assets were unveiled to the public.

Fans were treated to an ultra teaser trailer, a main visual, and several character visuals showcasing the upcoming season.

The new season features a shift in leadership as Hiroshi Haraguchi, who previously directed the first season’s fourth episode, steps into the role of main director.

The story continues to follow the unique relationship between the popular transfer student Alya and her classmate Kuze Masachika.

While Alya often speaks her true feelings and flirtatious remarks in Russian to maintain a cold exterior, she remains unaware that Kuze actually understands the language perfectly.

The upcoming episodes will see the student council members travel to a seaside villa for a training camp, expanding on the romantic comedy elements established in the debut season.

The production team at Doga Koba remains largely intact, with Seong-Min Kim serving as assistant director, Yuka Yamada as series composer, and Yuhei Murota returning to design the characters.
