Ado teams up with one of Japan’s largest karaoke chains for her 5th anniversary
Ado is set to celebrate the 5th anniversary of her major debut with a new collab with one of Japan’s main karaoke chains, Big Echo.
Since her brilliant major debut in 2020 with “Usseewa/Shut Up”, Ado has become a hugely popular artist who continues to captivate a wide range of fans with her relatable lyrics, addictive melodies, and powerful, expressive singing.
In February 2024, she held her first world tour, “Wish,” which toured Asia, Europe, and the United States, drawing a great response both at home and abroad.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of her major debut, and she will release her first ‘best of’ album, “Ado’s Best Album,” on April 9th.
To celebrate the occasion, on the same date, collaboration rooms will be set up in three Big Echo karaoke stores in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
The collaboration rooms will have wrapped walls and tables, featuring the artwork created for the event as well as past album/single jacket artwork.
The Tokyo collab store will also feature an elaborately decorated corridor based on Ado’s 5th anniversary and all collab rooms will play a welcome message from the artist herself that can only be seen in the Ado x Big Echo collaboration room!
A collaboration food menu will also be sold at a total of 30 Big Echo stores across Japan.
The food menu will consist of 2 items – an ice cream dish with a blue sauce that represents Ado’s ‘blue rose’ symbol, as well as a fried potato dish that comes with a spicy sauce that represents Ado’s often fiery singing style.
Both dishes will be priced at 690 yen (approx. $4.66 USD/£3.60 GBP).
For every order from the collaboration food menu, customers will receive 1 of 12 exclusive acrylic badges, which feature designs of past album/single jacket artwork:
The collaboration rooms are expected to be in high demand and booking in advance is recommended. The stores that will host the collab rooms will be as follows:
- Tokyo – Big Echo Shinagawa Konan Exit Station Front Store
- Osaka – Big Echo Namba AMZA Store
- Nagoya – Big Echo Nishikidori Store
