A new prize figure of Tokyo Ghoul’s Kaneki is coming out this September

A new prize figure of Ken Kaneki, the protagonist of the dark fantasy series Tokyo Ghoul, has been officially announced.
The new product marks the first time the character has been released in the “Grandista” line of collectible figures from Bandai Spirits.

“Grandista” is a popular brand of prize figures known for its impressive, large scale and its high-quality sculpting, offering fans a detailed display piece at an affordable price point.

Tokyo Ghoul, based on the manga by Sui Ishida, is a globally popular series that tells the tragic story of Ken Kaneki, a university student who is transformed into a half-ghoul and must navigate the violent, hidden world of ghouls who live by consuming human flesh.

This new figure is a non-articulated, pre-painted statue that captures the character’s powerful and conflicted nature, and it stands at an impressive height of approximately 27 centimeters.

The sculpt features a high level of detail, with a focus on the textures of Kaneki’s costume.

As a “prize figure,” this item will be primarily available to be won in crane games and other arcade machines.

The “Tokyo Ghoul Grandista-KANEKI KEN-” is scheduled to be released in amusement facilities across Japan starting from Thursday, the 25th of September, 2025.

Fans overseas can expect the figure to appear in most reputable hobby goods stores in late November/early December, as Banpresto products typically get an international release around 1-2 months after the initial Japanese arcade release.
