The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All Pop Up Store 2026

A pop up store for Sumiko Arai’s popular manga series The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All will be held at select bookstores in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Fukuoka from April 1 to April 19, 2026.
The event will feature a wide range of new merchandise using newly drawn illustrations of characters Mitsuki Koga and Aya Osawa with the themes of music and books.


The product lineup includes trading metal badges for 550 yen, various acrylic stands for 1,760 yen, pick-shaped keychains for 880 yen, and acrylic boards for 3,300 yen.


Fans can also purchase bookmark sets for 550 yen, book covers for 3,850 yen, flake seals for 990 yen, pen pouches for 3,520 yen, clear files for 550 yen, and ballpoint pens for 1,320 yen.


Additional items such as clear pouches for 3,080 yen, embroidered t-shirts for 6,600 yen, smartphone straps for 3,300 yen, pick sets for 1,980 yen, acrylic clip badge sets for 1,760 yen, and book tote bags for 3,300 yen will be available.


Customers who spend at least 2,500 yen including tax will receive one random special sticker from a set of eight designs as a bonus.

Following the pop up store, a fair will be held at 30 bookstores nationwide from April 29 to May 10, 2026, where a selection of the merchandise will be sold.
During the fair period, customers will receive one random special paper postcard from a set of four designs for every 2,500 yen spent.

The pop up store locations include MARUZEN and Junkudo Bookstore Sapporo, Ogaki Bookstore Azabudai Hills, Junkudo Bookstore Ikebukuro, Ogaki Bookstore Kyoto Yodobashi, Miraiya Shoten Dainichi, and Maruzen Hakata.
