What to expect at Odaiba Drone Show

This years drone show will be the first anime themed drone show to take place in Odaiba!

Shows are planned based on two popular anime series, The Apothecary Diaries and Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Set to music from each series, the drone shows will light up the night sky in front of Tokyo’s iconic Rainbow Bridge.

Illuminations will also take place around Odaiba Marine Park, which is sometimes referred to as the Third Battery.

The Third Battery is the remains of a maritime artillery battery built in preparation for the arrival of the Black Ships at the end of the Edo period.

Surrounded by stone walls about 5 to 7 meters high with a bank built on top of them, the park is covered with lush green grass and is a hidden gem where you can get the closest view of Rainbow Bridge.

In spring it becomes a famous cherry blossom viewing spot and it has also been designated as a national historic site.

When will Odaiba Drone Show take place?

This years event will take place around Odaiba Marine Park Marine House on the 28th and 29th of December.

The first drone show will take place at 17:00-17:15 each day, with the second taking place at 19:00-19:15.

Illuminations will be present in the area from 17:00 to 20:00 daily.

Due to the nature of the event, it will be visible from many vantage points across the Odaiba Marine Park area that face towards Tokyo’s Rainbow Bridge.

Odaiba Drone Show is free to view.

How do I get to Odaiba Drone Show?

Nearest Station: Odaiba Drone Show is a 4-minute walk from Odaiba-kaihinkōen Station or Daiba Station using the Yurikamome line.

Alternatively, the event is a 7-minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station on the Rinkai Line.
