Event Overview
Japan’s first grand sumo tournament of the year is held in Tokyo at the Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Arena, from the 11th to 25th January 2026.
The tournament is the first of six that take place at different locations around Japan throughout the year.
Lasting 15 days the event will see various bouts take place between wrestlers to see who will become champion.
Entry Information
Tickets will be available to purchase in advance from the 6th December 2025 via the official website.
