Taking place on the 15th of each month, the market sees around 450 vendors selling a variety of handmade items.

The event takes place on the first Sunday of each month at the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tōji Temple.

Tōji Temple Flea Market (also known as Kobo) is one of Kyoto's largest flea markets with around 1000 vendors.

2024 marks the 400th anniversary of the death of the founder of Kōdai-ji temple, Nene Kitamandokoro.
